Closing EAIE 2025: Europe’s Value for Latin America
Jorge Barrios
After an intense week in Gothenburg, we look back at our EAIE 2025 experience with a mix of gratitude and excitement.
We met with 20+ institutions across Europe and what stood out most was the strong interest in Latin America. The conversations confirmed that Europe has much more to offer Latin American students than what currently reaches our region, not only in traditional destinations, but through diverse formats, innovative programs, and new models of collaboration.
What we absorbed in Gothenburg goes beyond meetings. It’s a clear view of the value proposition Europe has for Latin America: one that still requires greater visibility, thoughtful mapping, and structured networking across the region. This is exactly where we see IntraEducation playing a role, bridging institutions with the right partners, counselors, and students.
Looking ahead, our team is already working extensively on:
Delivering proposals aligned with institutional priorities and realities.
Organizing presentations requested by new contacts.
Building partnerships that will shape a more connected and transparent recruitment landscape in Latin America.
This year’s EAIE was not just about participation, it was about being part of the new landscape for international education, both regionally and globally.
We now look forward to continuing these dialogues and returning to EAIE next year in Glasgow with even more results, data, and stories to share.
